France keen to develop Andhra Pradesh Smart City projects

France??expressed its willingness to play an active role in the development of??Andhra Pradesh. Disclosing this during his meeting with CM??Chandrababu Naidu, French ambassador to India Alexandre Ziegler said that his government is ready to join hands with the state government in??smart city, solar energy and sports stadia projects. He said AP is one of France’s immediate destinations in the country.

The French delegation said that it has plans to invest in the capital city project. Ziegler hoped that??Amaravati??would become one of the best smart cities in the world.

Expressing happiness over France’s keenness in joining hands with the state government, Naidu said that AP is the only state which has the widest road, rail, seaport and airport connectivity in the country. He said the state is also rich in natural resources with abundant availability of raw material for any??industry.

The CM informed the French delegation that they could invest in 24 sectors in the state. Water management, solid waste management, solar energy, transport and IT would be the key areas for the French firms to invest.
